Marie founded Alter Ego Studios in 2023. Following years of experience piercing in the tattoo world whilst simultaneously graduating university with two bachelors degrees, she decided at 23 years old to take the leap and open her own piercing studio.

What began as a love for self-expression and client connection has evolved into a luxury boutique piercing studio, specialising in curated ear styling and fine jewellery.

Marie is also a qualified lawyer, with an academic background in philosophy. Her approach to both piercing and business is considered and precise — balancing creativity and attention to detail.

Now with over 200 five-star Google reviews, the studio is known for its elevated experience, technical expertise, and refined approach to piercing and jewellery.
